Tropical Décor Wedding at Hangar 21 South

Mahina and Jacob met outside of Hangar 21 South for their first look on the morning of their wedding. A tap on the shoulder signaled Jacob to turn around, and standing before him was his beautiful bride. The couple shared the intimate moment by reading handwritten vows to one another. After, they joined their wedding party on the tarmac where they posed for pictures. The bridesmaids were dressed in dark emerald dresses and the groomsmen wore black. Smiles came naturally and memories were made together as friends, and once guests began arriving, the wedding party line up for ceremony.

Guests entered the side patio, signed the bride and groom’s guest book, then took a seat. Tropical flowers and greenery decorated the aisle and stage. Once everyone was in attendance, the wedding party made their entrances ending with Mahina. In front of all their closest friends and family, Jacob and Mahina recited their vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss.

Filet and Wild Mushroom Wellingtons and Crab Cakes were tray passed on the tarmac while the bar served the newlywed’s signature drinks, a Pineapple Margarita and Bay Breeze. Guests mixed and mingled while the bride and groom enjoyed their flight over Orange County. Upon their return, everyone headed into the hangar for reception.

Black and white details with pops of pink, green, and orange decorated the space inside. Mahina and Jacob made their grand entrance, shared their first dance and traditional dance, then took a seat at their sweetheart table. Santorini Chicken, Tri-Tip Carvery, Penne Alla Checca, Mashed Potatoes, Fresh Vegetable Medley, and Caesar Salad was served while toasts were shared. The dinner menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our event specialist, Patti. After dinner the newlyweds invited everyone to indulge in our Classic Dessert Station with Raspberry Chocolate Decadence Cakes, Fresh Fruit Tarts, Vanilla Bean Chocolate Eclairs, Mango and Passion Fruit Macarons, and French Apple Tarts. The evening ended with everyone showing off their best moves out on the dance floor.
