Riley and Brooklynn arrived at Hangar 21 South ready for their wedding day. Brooklynn and her girls headed to the tarmac first. The bridesmaids were dressed in black contrasting the bride in white. The photographer clicked away as the group posed for photos, then the girls switched with the guys. Riley and his groomsmen put on their sunglasses and wandered around while pictures were taken. Afterwards, everyone lined up for the ceremony.
Guests entered the side patio and took their seats. Arrangements of peach, pink and white flowers lined the aisle and decorated the modern backdrop on stage. As soon as everyone was in attendance, live music cued up and the wedding party made their entrances. Together in front of all their family and friends, Riley and Brooklynn read personalized vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss as the crowd cheered from the sidelines.
Everyone headed to the tarmac for cocktail hour. Two boho lounge vignettes offered stylish and relaxing places for guests to sit back and relax for the next hour. Servers were tray passing Filet and Wild Mushroom Wellingtons and Fig, Goat Cheese, and Mascarpone Tarts and the bar was mixing beer, wine, and the bride and groom’s signature cocktails, a Classic Margarita and Old Fashioned. While everyone mixed and mingled, the newlyweds enjoyed their helicopter flight over Orange County landing just in time for dinner.
Inside the hangar, tables were topped with vibrant floral centerpieces and candles. Riley and Brooklynn made their grand entrance, shared their first dance, and took a seat at their sweetheart table. Zucchini Lime Chicken, Tri-Tip Carvery, Tortellini with Creamy Pesto, Mashed Potatoes, Grilled Marinated Vegetables, and Pear and Walnut Salad was served just as toasts started. The menu was selected by the couple with help from our event specialist, Sierra. Family and friends shared their fondest memories of the bride and groom, and glasses clinked in the air when each speech ended. After dinner, the newlyweds cut into their 2-tiered carrot cake and invited guests to indulge in our Classic Dessert Station with a collection of Raspberry Chocolate Decadence Cakes, Fresh Fruit Tarts, Vanilla Bean Chocolate Eclairs, Mango and Passion Fruit Macarons, and French Apple Tarts. The evening ended with everyone out on the dance floor showing off their best moves and wishing the bride and groom well before heading home.
