Alex and Tabby met on the tarmac for their first look at Hangar 21 South. With a tap of the shoulder, Alex turned around to see his beautiful bride standing before him. Huge smiles filled their faces, and a warm embrace was shared. Compliments were exchanged, then their wedding party joined them for group photos. The groomsmen wore black and the bridesmaids wore silky, rust-colored dresses. Bouquets and boutonnieres made roses, gypsophila, and eucalyptus were pinned to suits and held while the photographer snapped away. As soon as guests began arriving, the wedding party lined up inside for ceremony.
Guests signed the bride and groom’s guest book then found a seat. Eucalyptus lined the aisle and a golden arbor stood tall on stage decorated in pampas grass, flowers, and foliage. Once everyone was in attendance, Alex, Tabby, and their wedding party made their entrances. In front of all their family and friends, the bride and groom read personalized vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss as the crowd cheered.
Cocktail hour on the tarmac was filled with delicious Filet and Wild Mushroom Wellington and Glazed Pear and Goat Cheese Tart hors d’oeuvres. The bar was mixing up drinks including the newlywed’s signature cocktails, a Pineapple Margarita and Whiskey Sour. While everyone mingled, Tabby and Alex enjoyed their helicopter flight over Orange County touching down just in time for dinner.
The hangar doors opened revealing reception tables topped with tall floral arrangements and candles. Guests found their assigned tables and took a seat. Alex and Tabby made their grand entrance, shared their first dance, then took a seat at the sweetheart table for toasts. Santorini Chicken, Tortellini with Creamy Pesto, Mashed Potatoes, Green Beans, and Pear and Walnut Salad was served. The menu was selected by the couple during their planning process with our event specialist, Arielle. Family and friends stood and shared their fondest memories and glasses clinked in the air after each speech ended. After dinner, the newlyweds cut into their two-tiered wedding cake and invited their guests to indulge in our Classic Dessert Station with an assortment of French Macarons, Raspberry Chocolate Decadence, Fresh Fruit Tarts, Vanilla Bean Chocolate Eclairs, and French Apple Tarts. The evening ended with a bouquet and garter toss, group pictures in the photo booth bus, and many shared dances with the bride and groom.
