Once Chad suited up and Mckenna slipped into her silky wedding dress, the two met outside of Hangar 21 South for their first look. As soon as Mckenna turned the corner, both her and Chad’s faces filled with wide grins. The couple shared sweet compliments, a warm embrace, and a kiss, then went to the side patio to meet their wedding party for group pictures. The guys wore black, and the girls matched in black dresses holding white bouquets. Together, laughs were shared as the photographer clicked away before guests arrived.
Family and friends entered the side patio, signed Mckenna and Chad’s guest book, then took a seat. Candles lined the aisle and a modern black structure decorated in clouds of white flowers stood tall on the stage. Once everyone was in attendance, the bride and groom made their entrances. Together at the head of the aisle, Chad and Mckenna recited vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss.
Cocktail hour was held on the tarmac where tables were topped with white roses and a black and white lounge offered a stylish place to sit back. Filet and Wild Mushroom Wellingtons and Roasted Red Cherry Tomato Bruschetta were tray passed while guests took turns filling their plate with meats and cheeses from our Charcuterie Tray. For those looking to quench their thirst, the bar was mixing up cocktails and the bride and groom’s signature drinks, an Aperol Spritz and Skinny Margarita. When the newlyweds returned from their helicopter flight, everyone headed inside for dinner.
Disco balls and gypsophila hung from the ceiling and decorated tables across the room. Once everyone was seated, the bride and groom made their grand entrance, shared their first dance, and took a seat. Family and friends shared toasts and glasses clinked in the air after each speech ended, then dinner was served. A menu of Santorini Chicken, Tortellini with Creamy Pesto, Garlic Parmesan Mushrooms, Grilled Marinated Vegetables, and Caesar Salad was selected by Chad and Mckenna with help from our Event Specialist, Patti. After dinner, the cake was cut, and dessert was enjoyed. The evening ended with everyone out on the dance floor waving around glow sticks and dancing with the bride and groom.
