Multicultural Wedding at Hangar 21 South

Zoya and Kyle met at Hangar 21 South for their first look and personal vow exchange inside the hangar and out on the side patio. A tap on the shoulder turned Kyle around to see his beautiful bride standing before him and smiles immediately filled their faces. The couple exchanged sweet compliments, shared their vows, then lined up with their wedding party for ceremony.

Guests filed into the side patio, signed Zoya and Kyle’s guest book, then took a seat. A black arbor decorated in white flowers took centerstage. Once everyone was in attendance, the music cued up and the wedding party made their entrances. In front of all their friends and family, Kyle and Zoya read their vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss.

Filet and Wild Mushroom Wellingtons, Lemon Parmesan Artichoke Hearts, and Thai Chicken Spring Rolls were tray passed on the tarmac for cocktail hour while the bar poured the newlywed’s signature drinks, a Whiskey Sour and Cosmo. While everyone mixed and mingled, the bride and groom posed for pictures by the helicopter. After a few snaps, Zoya changed into a different dress, and the couple took flight over Orange County. Upon their return, it was time for reception.

Inside the hangar, tables were topped with white floral centerpieces and black details. More flowers hung overhead and decorated the stage where the newlyweds would soon be. Everyone made their way to their seats just in time for the bride and groom to touch down from their flight. The couple made their grand entrance while everyone held up their phones to take pictures and cheered. An exciting performance was shared on the dance floor for everyone to witness, then dinner was served. First, Tangerine and Pecan Salad, and then, Vietnamese Braised Short Ribs and Honey and Ginger Glazed Salmon with Gochujang Brussels Sprouts and Wasabi Mashed Potatoes. The menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our event specialist, Brittany. Toasts were shared while everyone ate, then Zoya and Kyle cut into their 2-tiered wedding cake. After sharing a bite each, they invited their guests to indulge in our Gourmet Dessert Collection with an assortment of Mini Lemon Curd Tarts, Berry Champagne Macarons, Raspberry Chocolate Decadence Cakes, Mini Carrot Cupcakes, and Caramel Creme with Lemon Curd and Praline Crisp Dessert Shots. The rest of the night was spent out on the dance floor where guests showed off their best moves and celebrated around the bride and groom.
