Modern Boho Glam Wedding

Brianna and Angel arrived at Hangar 21 South with their wedding entourage ready to celebrate! The bridesmaids were dressed in pink and the groomsmen, in black. First things first. Brianna in her lace wedding gown headed over to the side patio for a first look with her father. With sparkling headband and bridal bouquet in tow, she reached for her dad’s arm. Tears were shed when he turned around to see his beautiful daughter for the first time that day and hugs were shared. Right afterwards, Brianna made her way to the tarmac for her first look with Angel. As the wedding party watched on, Brianna tapped Angel’s shoulder and smiles filled both their faces as he turned around. The wedding party cheered as Angel twirled and dipped his bride for a kiss and with first looks complete, everyone lined up for ceremony.

A gold arch covered in foliage, flowers and pampas took center stage on the side patio for the ceremony and two floral arrangements were placed at the back of the aisle with a “LOVE” marquee sign. Guests arrived, took a selfie for the photo guestbook, then found a seat. A violinist began playing and the wedding party made their entrances ending with Brianna. In front of all their family and friends, the bride and groom recited vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss. The crowd cheered as the newlyweds exited the ceremony into cocktail hour.

While guests were munching on Filet & Wild Mushroom Wellingtons and Fig, Goat Cheese & Mascarpone Tarts, the bride and groom were on the tarmac taking off for their flight over Orange County. Italian Margaritas and Sex on the Beach drinks were served at the bar as Brianna and Angel’s signature cocktails and guests mixed and mingled at lounge spaces and nearby tables. Light pink linens topped each cocktail table and bud vases filled with flowers were added decoration. A white sofa, black armchairs, and gold detailed coffee table made up the modern lounge space where guests sat back to relax. As soon as the bride and groom returned from their flight, guests were seated inside the hangar.

Ivory and metallic linens were draped over reception tables and floral centerpieces decorated each tabletop. Everyone cheered as the newlyweds made their way into the hangar and took a seat at their floral-filled sweetheart table. Toasts were made and dinner was served. Chicken Marsala, Vegetarian Rotolo Bolzano, Almond Rice Pilaf, Fresh Vegetable Medley, and Pear & Walnut Salad filled everyone’s plates. The menu was selected by Brianna and Angel during their planning process with our Event Specialist, Sierra. Rave reviews for the food were shared around each table. While everyone was finishing their meal, the newlyweds shared their first dance in the center of the room, then cut into their carrot cake with cream cheese filling. Slices of cake were distributed to each table while the bouquet and garter toss took place. The remainder of the evening was spent catching up with friends and family, and before anyone left, well wishes were shared with the bride and groom.
