After getting ready in the bridal suite and mezzanine, Jessica and Nhan met outside for their first look at Hangar 21 South. With a tap of the shoulder, Nhan turned around to see his beautiful bride standing before him in a lace wedding dress. Smiles immediately filled both their faces and hugs, kisses, and compliments were shared. While soaking in the moment, Jessica and Nhan’s fur baby joined in and was showered with lots of love. After some puppy kisses, the bride and groom met their bridesmaids and groomsmen on the tarmac for group pictures and an intimate tea ceremony with family. Once all the tea was finished, everyone lined up for the wedding ceremony on the side patio.
Guests dropped off their gifts, signed Jessica and Nhan’s guest book, then took a seat. The stage was set with a circular backdrop decorated in greenery and white flowers. Two additional floral arrangements marked the back of the aisle and string lights hung above. Once everyone had filled in the seats, the wedding party made their entrances. Nhan managed to keep his composure when Jessica walked down the aisle and the two were happy to finally be joined together in front of their friends and family. Personalized vows were read that drew tears and laughter, rings were exchanged, and a kiss sealed the deal. Everyone cheered as the newlyweds exited the ceremony into cocktail hour.
Guests mixed and mingled on the tarmac while Bruschetta al Pomodoro, Filet and Wild Mushroom Wellingtons, and Mini Ahi Tacos were tray passed and the bar served up beer, wine, and signature cocktails. A modern ivory and gold lounge provided a stylish and comfortable place for guests to kick up their feet and relax while Jessica and Nhan were off on their flight over Orange County. Upon the newlywed’s return, everyone had taken their seats inside the hangar for reception.
Greenery and white flowers filled the room for dinner and twinkling candles completed the décor. Once everyone had found their assigned seats, the bride and groom made their grand entrance into their first dance. Guests watched with love in their eyes as Nhan spun Jessica around the dance floor, then it was time for toasts and dinner. Once the newlyweds took their seats at the sweetheart table, family and friends stood to share their fondest memories of the couple. Glasses clinked in the air, then dinner was served. Roasted Atlantic Salmon Fillet, Tri-Tip Carvery, Italian Green Beans with Pancetta, Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Tortellini with Creamy Pesto, and Caesar Salad filled plates at the buffet line. The dinner menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our Event Specialist, Patti. Rave reviews of dinner were shared around each table and as soon as everyone finished their meal, Jessica and Nhan cut into their 2-tiered marble wedding cake. After sharing a bite, the newlyweds invited everyone to indulge in our Classic Dessert Station with an assortment of Raspberry Chocolate Decadence Cakes, Fresh Fruit Tarts, Vanilla Bean Chocolate Eclairs, Mango and Passion Fruit Macarons, and French Apple Tarts. The remainder of the evening was spent out on the dance floor. Guests surrounded the bride and groom, shared dances with them, and wished the newlyweds well. As a surprise, the couple ordered Fried Chicken and Waffle Bites, Roasted Tomato Soup Shooters, BBQ Chicken Mini Pizzas, and Meat Lovers Mini Pizzas to send their guests off with full stomachs and full hearts.
