Katrina and AJ got ready with their best friends, then met outside of Hangar 21 South for their first look. On the count of three, the couple turned to face one another. Smiles and happy tears filled both Katrina and AJ’s faces when they finally saw each other, and sweet compliments were exchanged. After the intimate moments, the bride and groom were joined by their bridesmaids and groomsmen for group photos. The bridesmaids were dressed in light blue dresses and the groomsmen wore charcoal grey suits. Together, smiles and laughs were shared, the group lined up for the ceremony.
Guests entered the side patio, signed AJ and Katrina’s guest book, then took a seat. A modern black backdrop decorated in vibrant orange, yellow, and purple flowers stood centerstage and matching florals lined the aisle. Once everyone was seated, the wedding party made their entrances ending with Katrina. In front of all their closest friends and family, the bride and groom recited vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss.
Guests filed onto the tarmac where Filet and Wild Mushroom Wellingtons, Sticky Pork Belly Bites, and Fig, Goat Cheese, and Mascarpone Tarts awaited them. The bar was mixing and serving up the newlywed’s signature drinks, Paloma and Old Fashioned cocktails, along with beer and wine. The couple jumped in their bounce house, posed for pictures on the tarmac, took flight on our helicopter, and when they returned, it was time for reception.
Lights hung from the ceiling and cascaded down the walls inside the hangar illuminating the space. Bright floral centerpieces and flickering candles decorated tabletops and modern table numbers helped guests find their assigned seats. Katrina and AJ made their grand entrance to an uproar of cheers. Bubbles drifted in the air as the two were held up above the crowd in celebration. After all the excitement, the bride and groom shared their first dance and took a seat at their sweetheart table. BBQ Boneless Chicken, Sliced Beef Brisket, Creamed Corn, Gourmet Mashed Potatoes, Warm Skillet Cornbread, and Caesar Salad was served. The menu was selected by AJ and Katrina during their planning process with our event specialist, Arielle. While everyone ate dinner, family and friends stood to share toasts. After dinner, cake was cut and served, then everyone hit the dance floor. The evening ended with everyone showing off their best moves and wishing the bride and groom well.
