Leah brushed Tommy’s shoulder outside of Hangar 21 South for their first look on the afternoon of their wedding day. Tommy turned around and a big smile immediately filled his face when he saw Leah. The couple shared sweet compliments and posed for photos together, then lined up for the ceremony.
Deep red, burgundy, and white flowers mixed with greenery decorated the side patio. Guests signed the bride and groom’s guest book, then took a seat. Once everyone was in attendance, the wedding party made their entrances ending with Leah arm-in-arm with her father. In front of all their closest friends and loving family, Tommy and Leah read handwritten vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss.
Filet and Wild Mushroom Wellingtons and Glazed Pear and Goat Cheese Tarts were tray passed on the tarmac while the bar served up beer, wine, and mixed drinks. Braised Pork Belly and Vietnamese Short Rib Bao were also available to hungry guests. Two forest green and ivory lounge sets were set on the tarmac for guests to sit back in and enjoy cocktail hour. Guests mixed and mingled while the newlyweds were off on their flight over Orange County, and upon their return, it was time for the reception.
Inside the hangar, tables were topped with floral bud vases filled with dark red flowers and tall candles. The bride and groom made their grand entrance, shared their first dance, then took a seat under sparkling lights. Chicken Marsala, Tri-Tip Carvery, Tortellini with Creamy Pesto, Mashed Potatoes, Green Beans, and Caesar Salad was served while friends and family shared toasts. The menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our event specialist, Selena. Glasses clinked in the air and the cake was cut. After dinner, everyone made their way to the dance floor for a group photo and dancing. The evening ended with photos captured in the photo booth, plenty of dancing, and a late night snack of Mini Corn Dogs.
