Modern Boho Wedding Ceremony at Hangar 21 South

Mark and his groomsmen suited up in black at Hangar 21 South while Hannah and her bridesmaids slipped into their dresses upstairs. Each of the bridesmaids wore different shades of champagne, terracotta and brown, and the bride of course wore white. Each group posed for photos together inside and outside while ensuring the bride and groom never crossed paths. After pictures, everyone lined up for ceremony.

Guests entered the side patio and took a seat facing a wooden arbor draped in white fabric on stage. The arbor was decorated with white and dried flowers to match the aisle arrangements. As soon as everyone arrived, Mark made his entrance followed by the wedding party and ending with Hannah. An emotional first look was shared as the bride and groom saw each other for the first time across the aisle. Together on stage, Mark and Hannah read personalized vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss

Crab Cakes and Sesame Shrimp and Mango Spring Rolls were tray passed on the tarmac for cocktail hour and the newlyweds surprised their guests with our Poke Station. The bar was serving up refreshing drinks and the bride and groom’s signature cocktails, a Paloma and Blue Hawaiian. While guests mixed and mingled, Hannah and Mark enjoyed their flight over Orange County. Upon their return, guests cheered from the tarmac and were ready to take a seat for dinner.

Tables were draped in white linen and topped with black details, dried florals, and disposable cameras for guests to snap photos. Once everyone was seated, the newlyweds made their grand entrance, shared their first dance, and took a seat at their sweetheart table. A dinner of Kalua Pork, Sliced Beef Brisket, Pineapple Fried Rice, Hawaiian Style Potato Macaroni Salad, and Stir Fry Vegetables was served. The menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our event specialist, Arielle. While everyone enjoyed dinner, friends and family stood to make toasts. Laughs and tears were shared and glasses clinked in the air after each speech ended. To conclude dinner, Mark and Hannah thanked all their guests for coming, cut into their 2-tiered marble and chocolate cake, and invited everyone to indulge in our Tropical Dessert Station with an assortment of individual pineapple upside down cakes, mango and passion fruit macarons, seven layer coconut bars, tropical fruit tarts, and banana passion fruit creme puffs. The evening ended with everyone out on the dance floor showing off their best moves.
